Papua New Guinea needs a Hausman to cater for the struggles and the difficulties related to GBV in this ever changing times.

From a Patrilineal Melanesian Society, into the concept of Gender Equality and Woman Empowerment, we are in a new era, were politics and culture are at war.

Much influence from the Western World upon PNG politics seems to suppress the Melanesian Cultural believes and values. It further undermines the core principles that defines our identity as a Sovereign Melanesian State.

As Melanesians, we do not want to see our women (mothers, sisters and daughters) abused in anyway. We are a Nation that protects our women. We are a society that provides for our women's basic needs and wants. We as Melanesia are committed to see the best outcome from our women in education, business, science and politics.

'Hausman I Karai' is an expression symbolizing the Melanesian Patrilineal Society. It represents the true Spirit of Melanesia and as such, represents the voice of the silent majority and patriots of the 'Melanesian Heritage'.

'Hausman I Karai' is also willing to take the lead to educate Papua New Guinean men on how to avoid being a victim of GBV by receiving complaints and by administering rehabilitation programs etc.

We believe that males have silently become victims of GBV and nothing has been done to address this. 'Hausman I Karai' is now representing the voice of the silent majority of men suffering from all forms of abuse related to GBV. It is a voice that prioritizes the rights and the moral integrity of a woman. It is a voice representing the Melanesian Way of doing things with the exclusion of its negative consequences and with a more refined approach conducive to meet and merge with the current globally influenced political demand whilst still maintaining it's cultural identity as Melanesians.
